Almira brings over 13 years of professional experience in dispute resolution and international private law. Her career includes senior legal roles in international law firms and multinational companies, as well as the co-founding and leadership of a legal start-up, where she advised clients on corporate structuring, arbitration, SPA and loan agreements, cross-border supply, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including Europe and Asia. She also represented clients in domestic courts, international arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
Almira has a strong academic background and international legal education. She holds a Master’s degree in Private Law from the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences in cooperation with the University of Manchester (LL.M), and an LL.M in International Civil and Commercial Law from Leiden University (Netherlands).
Alongside her legal practice, Almira has taught Legal English to bachelor’s and master’s students, reflecting her strong command of professional legal English and her ability to operate confidently in international legal environments.
- Managed corporate restructuring and regulatory projects, including the renaming of Toshiba Medical Systems to Canon Medical Systems, registration of additional share issues, and defense against corporate raiding attempts.
- Led cross-border and international legal projects, including SPA agreements, loan contracts (UK), and international supply chains (Serbia–Romania)
- Organized legal representation in foreign jurisdictions, including courts in Romania and international arbitration in China, coordinating local counsel and procedural strategy.
- Built and managed a successful legal startup from the ground up, developing business processes, client relationships, and a high-performing team.
