Alina is a Legal Consultant at MDC Consulting, where she supports clients on a range of legal matters, with a focus on corporate and labor law across the UAE, the UK, and other jurisdictions.
Her areas of expertise include international commercial law, global trade law, and regulatory frameworks across various jurisdictions. She drafts legal opinions and memorandums for international clients in sectors including real estate, construction, and fintech.
Alina holds an LLB (Hons) in Law with International Relations from Middlesex University Dubai, graduating with First Class Honours. Her academic path is marked by outstanding results and active participation in the university’s Mooting Society.
Her practical experience includes internships at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), the International Arbitration Centre (IAC), and the Economic Arbitration of Astana, where she deepened her knowledge of commercial arbitration by assisting in case assessments and reviewing procedural rules.
These internships sharpened her legal reasoning, research, and drafting skills, while also providing a solid grounding in ad hoc dispute resolution mechanisms.
Contributed to legal research and structuring for EMI/PSP regulation in the UAE, assisting clients with licensing and compliance.
Conducted legal due diligence and risk assessments in cross-border transactions, ensuring all client documentation aligns with applicable legal standards.
Advised on IPO readiness, including regulatory analysis and corporate governance alignment.
Engaged with UAE regulatory authorities, Free Zones, and Mainland authorities to support client operations in line with legal requirements.
Participated in academic debates and law society events alongside professionals across the UAE.
